The “Welcome to Cumberland” project is our Chamber’s attempt to help newcomers to the area get a running start on who is available to serve them on a retail or personal services level. By providing them with information on what is available in the Cumberland region it is hoped that regardless of moving to Amherst, Oxford, Parrsboro, Pugwash, Springhill, or anywhere else in the region, they will at least have a little better understanding of their new neighbourhood.
Local businesses and organizations have contributed to the “Welcome Packages” with information, gifts, or discounts as an introduction of their services.
Below you will find information directed to businesses who may be considering to participate, the information shared with realtors on how the information is handled and forwarded, and the “Registration Form” for use by realtors participating in the program.
