The Department of Community Development supports and promotes community and economic development throughout the Municipality. This department manages the grants programs, the Dr. Carson & Marion Murray Community Centre, recreation programming in the Community of Parrsboro, and is responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating community economic development initiatives within the Municipality.
