Communities in bloom is a non profit organization committed to fostering civic pride, environmental responsibility and beautification through community involvement a\with a focus on enhancing green spaces in communities.

The Amherst Communities in Bloom Committee is participating in the provincial competition this year! Provincial judges will evaluate this year based on program criteria such as Tidiness, Environmental Acton, Heritage Conservation, Urban forestry, Landscape and Floral Displays. The judging will take place on July 23rd and 24th, 2019.

They are asking businesses to please be aware of this competition and think of how you can show off your businesses in its best lihgt, by keeping your sidewalks swept, enhancing flower displays, having clean bright and readable signs, sprucing up areas with paint and general tidiness overall.
